My Name Is Maea Havea...
Programming and design are things that I do as a hobby. In terms of experience, I have made many websites with a niche in sports and health, 2-years in a customer service role with Collins Foods, and just under years' worth of experience in a customer support role with Property Tree.
For my education, I studied at Homebush Boys High School during my younger years achieving an ATAR of 81.60. Now I am currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Information Technology majoring in Computer Science at Murdoch University.
As a child, I aspired to be an artist like my dad. Making things out of anything I could find kept me enraptured. Though this was short-lived, the introduction to video games birthed my interest in programming. So the perfect middle ground was web development - combining aspects of logic and artistic design.
My interests aren't exclusively intellectual, having spent 11 years playing rugby league to this day. To me, nothing beats a good rumble, the feeling of working as a unit under high-pressure situations, and the execution of strategy leading to victory.

vvelapilates is a fitness business that is run by a professional rhythmic gymnst, who offers a personalised experience of exercise to reach personal fitness goals. The look and feel she was going for was a slick, refined, and elegant design to fit her brand. She felt many other pilates studios were commercial, and vouched for a way to distinctify herself through my skills. This project utilized skills such as: Shopify, Liquid, SCSS, HTML, API Integrations, and JavaScript.
